William A. Farr

William Albert Farr, 91, of Fremont, passed away Monday, February 19, 2024. He was born December 13, 1932 in Oberlin, OH the son of Albert and Isabelle (Mahon) Farr.

Bill was an Army Veteran serving during the Korean War in the United States Army from December 1950-1952. He went on to work as a salesman for Steinle Automotive Dealerships. On January 23, 1971 he married Patricia A. Gerken at First Presbyterian Church.

Bill was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans. He loved The Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Browns and the Cleveland Indians.

Surviving is his wife Pat of Fremont, OH; sons Jeff (Holly) Farr of Savannah, OH; Ross (Karen) Farr of Shiloh, OH; grandchildren: Heather, Reanna, Amanda, Jacob, Brandon, Kyver; great-grandchildren: Opal, Everly, Kyden, Dominic and Barrett. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings Mary Ann (Paul) Zahniser, Albert "Butch" Farr. Jr., Ernest (Bobbi) Farr and Dave (Renee) Farr.

Visitation will take place from 4-7P.M. on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Crematory, 900 North Street, Fremont, OH. Funeral services will begin at 11:00A.M. on Friday, February 23, 2024 with additional visiting beginning at 10:00A.M.  Burial will follow at South Murray Ridge Cemetery, Elyria, OH with military graveside rights.
