Thomas W. Krotzer, 72, passed away on March 9, 2023, in Sandusky, OH. He was born on March 2, 1951 in Fremont, OH, to Wayne Jr. and Alvina (Fryman) Krotzer.
On December 1, 1967, he married Julie Kay Fry in Wise, VA. They shared 45 years of marriage until her passing on August 10, 2013.
Thomas worked as a Supervisor for Chemi-trol until retiring in 2014.
In his spare time Thomas was an avid golfer. He also liked to play cards and spend time at the Bettsville American Legion with his buddies. For several years in his youth, Thomas was on Tim & Cal's softball team. He was known to help Bobby Teeple work on his sprint cars and help at the race track.
Left to cherish his memory are his sons Brian (Regina) Krotzer of Gibsonburg and Michael (Samantha) Krotzer of Fostoria; grandchildren Nathan, Kristopher, Noah, Natalie and Camren; step-grandchildren Chase and Cora Grine; great-grandchildren Amelia, Preston, Izayah, Mylez, Zayne, Grace and Bentley; and brother Les Krotzer of Gibsonburg.
Thomas is preceded in death by his parents Wayne Jr. and Alvina; and siblings Kris, Lynn, Dale, and Keith "Cow" Krotzer.
Visitation for Thomas will be held on Sunday, March 12, 2023 from Noon-4:00 PM and 5:00-6:00PM at the Herman-Veh Funeral Home & Crematory, Gibsonburg with funeral services immediately following at 6:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Gibsonburg Athletic Boosters.
