Suzanne Morley

Suzanne C. Morley, 77, of Fremont passed away on Monday Oct. 21, 2024 in the comfort of her home. She was born on April 1, 1947 in Toledo to the late William and Olga (Housey) Cassis.

She was a 1965 Clay High School graduate. She furthered her education at BGSU where she earned her bachelors degree in marketing.

For 15 years she taught DECA at Vanguard. She then became the Director of the Sandusky County Chamber of Commerce for five years, then the Marketing Director for Fremont Memorial Hospital for two years, lastly, she served as the District Manager for Avon Corp. until her retirement.

On June 8, 1974, she married the love of her life, William "Skip" Morley at St. George Orthodox Church in Toledo.

Suzanne loved to spend time with her family and friends. Many times that would include eating at Lebanese restaurants, trips to Las Vegas, and cruises. She was also an avid Ohio State fan watching many of the games with her in-laws, Jim and Janet.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Skip; children, Darren (Cindy) Morley and Dawn Marie (Corey) Harmon all of the Atlanta, GA area; several grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Joanne Sabbagh of Bloomington, IN; and sister-in-law, Ginger Hammonds.

She is preceded in death by her son, Anthony "Tony" Morley who passed in 2006; sister, Marianne Warr; and in-laws, Richard (Norma Jean) Morley.

Memorials in honor of Suzanne may be made to the United Way, St. Ann Church or to the Anthony Morley Terra Scholarship.

Visitation will be held at the Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Crematory, Fremont on Wed., Oct. 23rd from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. A Funeral Mass for Suzanne will be held on Thurs. the 24th at St. Ann Catholic Church beginning at 10:00 AM. Fr. Matt Frisbee will officiate. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Clyde.
