Sandra K. Vance

Sandra K. (Gray) Vance passed away March 29, 2022, at her home in Fremont, OH where she had resided the past 13 years. She was born on March 25, 1938, in Davenport, Iowa, daughter of the late Everett and Viola (Behm) Gray.

Sandra was a 1956 graduate of Davenport High School. She married J. Robert (Bob) Vance, Jr on November 26, 1960, in Davenport, IA and he preceded her on July 30, 2007.

Sandra worked at Davenport Bank and Bettendorf Bank as a teller and for Universal Fremont Packaging. Sandra was a huge dog lover, enjoyed playing cards, bingo, golf and bowling. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and the Fremont (Christian) Women’s Connection.

Survivors include her son, Todd (Kay) Vance of Helena; her grandchildren, Jeanette (Steve) Laskey of Maumee, Steven (Sarah) Mitchell of Perrysburg; and great-grandchildren Mackenzie Egbert of Perrysburg and Jacob Mitchell of Camp Pendleton, CA.

She was also preceded by her parents; infant daughter, Tracy Ann; brothers Darrel and Eugene; and grandson, Daniel Mitchell.

Family will hold private services for Sandra at a later date.
