Ruth Ann Walters, 87, of Fremont went to be with her Lord and personal Savior on Tuesday, October 17, 2023. She was born on August 1, 1936 in Fremont to Harry and Mabel (Furman) Boss.

For many years Ruth was part owner with her husband and office manager of Fremont Boiler Works, but she saw her real calling in her faith. All of her life, Ruth was a member of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church currently known as Fremont Alliance Church.

She was a board member for the School of Hope and a member of the Vintage Truck Club. Ruth took a special interest in photography which enabled her to capture many special moments with her family.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Tim (Lilly) Walters of Fremont; daughter-in-law, Sherrie Walters of Fremont; grandchildren, Lisa (Jake) Schneider, Erica (TC) Hoffman, Sonya (Tony) Stevenson, Jillian (Justin) Barnes and Leah (Nevan) O'Donnell; 6 great-grandchildren; special friend, Hank Miller; and siblings, Betty (Dave) Hamilton and Willis (Cindy) Boss.

She is preceded in death by her husband and father of her 3 children, Richard Walters; daughter, Beth Walters; son, Eric Walters; granddaughter, Christina Walters; and brother, Dennis Boss.

Visitation for Ruth will be held on Monday, October 23rd from 10:00AM-12:00PM at Fremont Alliance Church with Funeral Services beginning at 12:00PM. Pastor Glenn Merrill will officiate and burial will follow at Washington Chapel Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Fremont Alliance Church or Beulah Beach.
