Ruth J. Kennedy, 94, of Fremont, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2022 in Tiffin, OH. She was born April 30, 1928 in Detroit, MI the daughter of Morris and Lenora (Wilkie) Carlton. She was a 1946 graduate of Worthington High and went on to work as an office manager for Warner Mechanical. She retired in 1993 after 33 years with the company.

She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and a past member of the National Quilting Association.

Surviving are her children: Carol (Robert) Miller of Gibsonburg, OH and Paul (Nancy) Kennedy of St. Paul, MN; siblings Ralph (Carol) Carlton of California and Judith Mallot of Detroit, MI; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Michael Carlton.

Memorial services will take place at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, December 30, 2022 at Herman-Veh Funeral Home, 319 W. Madison Street, Gibsonburg, OH; visiting will take place 1 hour prior to services beginning at 1:00 P.M. Certified Celebrant Maureen Pump will officiate. Services will be live streamed via Ruth's obituary page at www.hermanfh.com Interment will take place at Oakwood Cemetery.
