Roma F. Wallace

Roma F. Wallace, 84, of Burgoon, passed away, Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Elmwood in Fremont. She was born November 4, 1936 in Washington County, Ohio the daughter of Thomas and Gertrude ( Walenfeltz) Fisher. On December 29, 1962, she married George W. Wallace. He preceded her in death on January 4, 2013. Roma was a graduate of Ohio University with a Bachelors Degree in Home Economics and was  the bookkeeper for the family farm.

She was a member of Burgoon United Methodist Church,  Sandusky County Farm Women, Sandusky County Republican Women , was President of the Lakota Local School board and a member of the Vanguard School Board. She served as President of the Ohio Angus Auxiliary , President of the Ohio Cattlewomen's Association, Historian for the American Angus  Auxiliary and board member for the Ohio Angus Association,3610 S. Grubb Rd., Cridersville, OH 45806.

Surviving is son G. William "Bill" (Cherri) Wallace of Gibsonburg; daughter Sandra Wallace of Kansas, OH; grandchildren Nicole and Nathan Wallace of Gibsonburg and Samantha Wallace of Kansas, 1 great-grandchild.

Friends may gather Saturday, May 15, 2021 from 10-12:00P.M. at Herman-Veh Funeral Home 319 W. Madison Street, Gibsonburg, OH 43431. Memorial services will begin at 12:00 at the funeral home. Pastor Michael Holcomb officiating. 

In leu of flowers memorials can be made to the Ohio Angus Auxiliary Scholarship fund or to a charity of the donors choice.
