Robert "Bob" Dix, Jr.

Robert "Bob" Dix, Jr., 62, of Fremont passed away on Monday, March 14, 2022 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. He was born on April 17, 1959 in Bowling Green to the late Robert R. Dix, Sr. and Janice R. (Dages) Dix.

Bob attended Gibsonburg High School. He later went to the Police Academy where he achieved the Top Gun Award. He worked a variety of jobs throughout his life.

On June 7, 2014, he married Molly Moll at St. James Lutheran Church in Bradner, OH where they were members.

Surviving are his children, Michael (Laura) Dix of Toledo, Joshua (Amanda) Dix of Bowling Green, and April Dix of Cleveland; step-son, Matthew (Andrea) Ohm of Fremont; grandchildren, Mallory, Elizabeth, Jared, Braden, Benjamin, Joey, Persephone and Coralee; siblings, William Dix of Gibsonburg, Bradley (June) Dix of Gibsonburg, Laurie (Kevin) Peters of Gibsonburg, and Steven Dix of Woodville; brothers-in-law, Christian (Peggy) Moll and Mark Moll all of Gibsonburg; and sister-in-law, Wendy Shuman of Fremont.

Visitation will be held at the Herman-Veh Funeral Home & Crematory, Gibsonburg on Friday, March 18th from 3-7 PM where services will begin at 6 PM. Rev. Melanie Haack will officiate.

Memorials may be made to Ohio Treatment Center.
