Robert James "Bobby" Binder, 56, of Sandusky, passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2023. He was born on April 28, 1967 in Fremont to Kenneth and Jenny Rose (Bebow) Binder.

Bobby was a 1985 Vanguard and Fremont Ross graduate. He joined the U.S. Army, serving from 1988-1990 being stationed in Fort Benning and deployed in Germany.

Through the years Bobby worked several manufacturing jobs in Fremont. He will be remembered as a gentle giant who had a heart of gold, a very talented artist, and a lover of 80's Rock & Roll music.

Left to cherish his memory is his mom, Jenny Rose of Fremont; siblings, LeeAnn (Kevin) Baker of Genoa, OH, Tina (Chuck) Mitchell of Jonesboro, AR, and Randy (Jill) Binder of Fremont; several nieces & nephews; girlfriend, LeeAnn Gregory; former wife, Dawn Johnson Binder. He is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth who passed in 2016; and grandparents, Betty Kraak, Warren Bebow, and Leo & Kathryn Binder.

Memorials in honor of Bobby may be made to the VA Northest Ohio Health Care System or to a charity of the donor's choice.

Visitation for Bobby will be held on Friday, December 29, 2023 from 10:00A.M.-12:00P.M. at the Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Crematory, Fremont. Funeral services will begin at the funeral home at noon with burial to follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery where Military Honors will be conducted in honor of his service.
