Richard "Rick" Koebel

Richard J. "Rick" Koebel, 63, of Fremont, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at Spring Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation in Green Springs. He was born on August 26, 1960 in Fremont to the late Richard L. and Faye (Capelle) Koebel.

In 1978, Rick graduated from Fremont Ross High School. He furthered his education at Terra State Community College. For many years, he worked as a real estate investor in addition to working for Famous Supply and Sheets Supply in Fremont. He later retired from Nickles' Bakery.

Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Chad Koebel and Adam (Aurela) Koebel all of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren, Liam, Logan and Luke Koebel; sister, Tami (Al) Aldrich of Fremont; nephews, Jake (Madison) Aldrich of Marengo, OH and Tyler Aldrich of Findlay; great-nephew & great-niece, Rip and Raelynn Aldrich; and his best and closest friend, Mark Sultz.
