He was born on March 9, 1959 to the late Paul Weng and Margaret (Felter)
After graduating high school, Ray went on to proudly serve his country in the United States National Guard.
On July 12, 1997, he married Marschell Weller and have shared 25 years together.
Ray most recently worked for Autoplas. Inc. in Bellevue, and had served on the Kansas and Bettsville Volunteer Fire Departments for over 20 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and going for rides on his motorcycle.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Marschell; children, Paul (Cristy Sprauer) Balderson, Kevin (Kayla) Balderson, Brandy (Darl) Cessna, Earl (Kara) Balderson, and Candice (David Galliher) Balderson and 15 grandchildren; siblings, Nora, Wendy, John, and Lee.
Ray is preceded in death by his daughter, Rachael (Weng) Peak; as well as his parents, Paul (Helen) Weng and Margaret and brothers Bob and Paul.
Visitation for Ray will be held on Friday, April, 26, 2024 at the Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Crematory, Fremont from 4:00-6:00pm with Funeral Services to follow at the funeral home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
Donations in Ray's name may be made to his family, in care of his wife, Marschell.
