Peggy L. Abshire

Peggy Lynn "Penny" Abshire, 72, of Fremont, passed away Thursday, May 27, 2021. She was born December 1, 1948 in Charleston, WV the daughter of Roy Pauley and Frances Abshire and raised by her step-father Frederick Winkelman. Peggy worked for Munson Transportation. Surviving are her children: John R. Abshire of Toledo, OH; Tina (Randy) Aldrich of Helena, OH and Donna J. Abshire of Swanton, OH; grandchildren: Kayla (Shawn) Brown, Randi (Josh) Durst, Miranda Aldrich, Scott Aldrich, Merlin Aldrich, Olivia Aldrich, Harley (Stacey)Abshire, Josh Abshire, Santana Uballe, Alicia Uballe, Rondal Abshire; Randy Aldrich, Jr., James Aldrich; 12 great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughters Tammy Lynn and Kimberly Ann Gallagher; granddaughter Mary Beth Aldrich and siblings: Janet Milhoan, Jimmy Winkleman, Freddy Winkleman, Diane Winkleman. Visitation will take place on Friday, June 4, 2021 from 4-7P.M. at Herman-Veh Funeral Home & Crematory, 319 W. Madison Street, Gibsonburg, OH. Funeral services will take place at 11:30A.M. on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Metzgar Cemetery.
