Paul Louis Kerbel, 86, of Woodville, passed away on March 30, 2021 at St. Charles Hospital in Oregon, Ohio. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on December 29, 1934 to Louis and Josephine (Reinbolt) Kerbel. Paul attended Woodville Schools. On April 14, 1956, he married Erma Jean Roberts, and they enjoyed 55 years of marriage until her passing on October 19, 2011. Paul worked for Atlas Industries as a truck driver for many years until his retirement and then focused his attention on the family farm. Never one to be idle, Paul could often be found hanging around the farm tinkering with the tractors. He had a knack for repairing various types of farm equipment and often bought and sold his own. What he enjoyed most, however, was getting all his family and friends together for some fun and cookouts. Paul was also a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Gibsonburg, Ohio.
Left to cherish his memory are his children; Thomas (Joanie) Kerbel of Gibsonburg, Ohio, Philip (Barbara) Kerbel and John (Deborah) Kerbel, both of Woodville, Ohio, 9 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife, Erma Jean Kerbel, he was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey A. Kerbel, and sister, Joyce Savage.
Services will be held privately for the family. Paul will be laid to rest with his wife at St. Lawrence and St. Michael Cemetery in Gibsonburg, Ohio.
