Patricia (Stiger) Michael

Patricia (Stiger) Michael, 74, of Fremont, passed away on February 12, 2021 at home with her family. Her husband, Melvin Michael, was at her side that day, which marked their 55^th anniversary. They were married in Fremont on February 12, 1966. She was born on August 31, 1946 to Norm and Alice (Stoldt) Stiger in Fremont, Ohio. She graduated from Ross High School in 1964.

Pat greatly enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and enjoyed a special bond with each and every one of them. She was affectionately known by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as “Pig Maw”. Pat spent her early years as a farmer’s wife and homemaker. She went on to work as a service manager at Food Town and retired in 2003.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Melvin Michael of Fremont, children; Christian (Kelly) of Fremont, Matthew (Tina) of St. Augustine, FL, Mark (Abbi) of Findlay, grandchildren; Cameron (Kerrie), Samantha, Pamala, Xavier, Garrett, Brennen, Ally, great-grandchildren; Quinn, Jaxyn and Denver Carnicom, Rylee, Hudson and Kace Michael. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Michele Michael, brother, Michael Stiger.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 16, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Ole Zim’s Wagon Shed 1375 N. OH-590, Gibsonburg, OH, 43431. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Ole Zim’s. Burial will follow at Four Mile House Cemetery, Fremont, Ohio. Use of a mask will be required at all services as well as observance of social distancing. For those unable to attend, Patricia’s funeral services will be available on the funeral home’s website after services have taken place.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Heartland Hospice, 907 W. State Street, Ste A, Fremont, Ohio, 43420.
