Pamela L. Herman, 82, lifelong Gibsonburg resident passed away at the Windsor Lane Care Center Friday, Dec. 27, 2019.
Born in Fremont on Dec. 21, 1937, Pam was a daughter of Edward and Isabell (Berry) Herman, Sr. She graduated from Gibsonburg High School and worked as a hairstylist and beautician in Gibsonburg for many years. As a very active member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church, she volunteered her time with the Altar Rosary Society and with the funeral luncheon women. She will be most remembered for her love of her family, especially her father, whom she cared for and spent most of her time with during the last 30 years of his life.
Surviving is her brother, Edward (Dee) Herman, Jr.; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Priscilla Stachowiak; and infant siblings, twin sister Patricia Lee, Thomas Jude and John Michael.
A Funeral Mass will be said Friday, Jan. 3, 10:30 a.m., at St. Michael’s Catholic Church where the family will receive friends beginning at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Fremont.
Memorials may be directed to St. Michael’s Catholic Church or Heartland Hospice of Fremont.
