Pamela Cora

Pamela Sue Cora, 70, of Fremont passed away on Monday, March 13, 2023. She was born on June 10, 1952 in Tiffin, OH, a daughter of Norman and Donna (Colvin) Shiley.

Pamela attended Old Fort Schools for many years until transferring her Senior year to graduate from Colonel Crawford High School in Crestline, OH. For many years she did secretarial work for Warner Mechanical before changing to the Fremont Rec. Center. She worked there for over 10 years.

In the garden at Spiegel Grove, she married Anthony Cora on June 7, 1997. Together they shared 25 years of marriage.

Many people remember Pamela over the last 27 years as a referee and her excitement of volleyball season. She liked to do crafting, antiquing and research genealogy. At home Pamela liked to tend to her garden and spoil her dog which included making homemade dog treats.

In addition to her husband Anthony, surviving is her daughter, Niki (Jason) Ginnever of Fremont; step-children, Anthony Cora, Theresa Udeck and Laurie Cora all of Canton; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and siblings Mark (Paula) Shiley and Patty MacLean.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Rod Shiley.

Visitation will be held at the Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Crematory, Fremont on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 from 3:00-5:00 PM where Funeral Services will begin at 5:00 PM.
