Olivia "Leafy" Buti

Oliva “Leafy” Buti, 95 of Fremont, passed away on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at Valley View Health Campus, Fremont. She was born on November 12, 1925 to the late George and Anna (Avrum) Muntean in Martins Ferry, OH.

On June 4, 1955, Olivia married Thomas P. Buti and shared 61 years together in marriage before his passing in 2016.

A creative mind, Leafy loved to craft and write. She enjoyed writing poetry throughout her life. She also enjoyed putting together puzzles and making others smile through her homemade cards and gifts. After retirement, she and Tom wintered in Florida for over 20 years and spent time with her daughter and grandson in Texas.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Joe (Kim) Buti of Fremont, and Gina (Ronn) Willard of Richmond, TX; 3 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Anna, Aurel, and Mary Ellen.

Olivia is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas; and siblings, George, Virginia, John, and Victoria.

Services for Olivia will be held at a later date.

Memorial donations in Olivia’s name may be made to Valley View Health Campus for their Activities Fund.
