Nathan Alan Herb, 38, went home to be with Our Lord on Monday, June 14, 2021, after six years of battling cancer with courage and dignity.
Nathan was born in Tiffin, Ohio to Thomas A. and Deborah S. (Golamb) Herb on February 13, 1983.
He graduated from St. Joseph Central Catholic High School in 2002, and from Bowling Green State University with a BA in Pipe Organ Performance. With his exceptional musical talent, Nathan has been the heartbeat of our music since 2009 as the Director of Music and Liturgy at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Nathan touched many people in his lifetime. Known for his humble, loving, caring, and compassionate personality, his smile and laugh will be remembered forever in our hearts.
Surviving him are his parents and his brother, Ryan T. Herb, Ferndale, MI; Maternal grandmother Patricia (Setzler) Golamb, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and his church family at St. Ann and St. Joseph Catholic Parishes. He is preceded in death by his Paternal grandparents, William R. and Helen C. Herb, Maternal grandfather, Marion J. Golamb, Uncle, Michael Golamb, and Uncle, Eddie Mitchell.
Visitation will be on Friday June 25, 2021, from 2:00 - 8:00PM at St. Joseph Parish Hall, 709 Croghan Street, Fremont, Ohio. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 10:00AM with Father Michael Roemmele as Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Funeral services have been recorded and archived, they are viewable after watching his memorial video.
