Nancy C. Haynes

Nancy C. Haynes, 76, of Fremont, died Friday, July 14, 2023 at Toledo Hospital. She was born July 16, 1946 in Fremont, the daughter of Lawrence C. and Eileen (Gloer) Feighner. She was a 1964 graduate of St. Joseph High and went on to graduate from Bowling Green Nursing School in 1966. For 49 years, Nancy worked locally at Memorial Hospital in the OB department and as a private nurse.

She married Patrick J. Haynes on June 17, 1967 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He survives.

Nancy enjoyed camping, playing dominos and time with her children, grandchildren and their families. She was a member of Sacred Heart,and their Altar Rosary Society. She also served on the Sandusky County Board of DD and Campfire Board. 

Surviving is her husband Patrick of Fremont; daughter Kelley J. (Dennis) Hasselbach of Lindsey, OH and son Patrick J. "P.J." (Anna) Haynes of Dayton; grandchildren: Ashleigh (Jonathan) Hasselbach; Alexis Hasselbach, Abbi Hasselbach, Addison Hasselbach, Victoria Haynes, Dominick Haynes; great-grandchildren Sutton and Shea Tenenzapf; sister Joanne (Garry) Jenne of Green Springs, OH; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter Brittany Haynes.

Visitation will take place at 10:00A.M. on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 550 Smith Road Fremont, OH. A Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 A.M. Fr. Mark Herzog will officiate.  Private burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Church or Sandusky County Board of DD.
