Michael Pitts

Michael Pitts, 65, of Fremont passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2025 at his home. He was born on November 7, 1959 to Edward and Carol (Marquart) Pitts.

Mike graduated from Fremont Ross High School in 1978. He went on to work with his dad and his grandpa at Harbor Manufacturing in Genoa and retired after working 21 years at BAP Manufacturing.

He enjoyed going for drives on his motorcycle and watching westerns. Mike also enjoyed watching Ohio State sports and was an avid golfer.

Surviving are his mom, Carol; siblings, Terianne (Duncan) Thomas of Fremont, Scott (Mary) Pitts of Fremont, and sister, Kristin (Marvin) Welly of New Riegel; companion of many years, Janie Martin; special nephew, Jeremy Pitts; bonus family, Kenneth Martin, Dean Martin, and Joseph Martin; as well as many other nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Michael will be held on Saturday, March 15 from 2:00-4:00PM at the Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Crematory, Fremont. A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00PM following visitation at the funeral home. Certified Celebrant Susann Robitski Cannon.
