Fremont

Mary Lou Randolph, 77 (or 39, according to her favorite grandchild), of Fremont passed away on August 7, 2024 at her home in Fremont, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on November 18, 1946 to the late Herman and Monica (Streeter) Miller and was a 1964 graduate of Fremont Saint Joseph High School.

As she raised her children, Mary Lou attended Owens Community College, graduating with an Associates Degree in 1986. Her great passion was her career as a pediatric nurse at Fremont Memorial Hospital, where she also worked in mental health. She was a Lamaze birthing instructor for over 20 years.

Mary Lou loved to sing and was a member of the church choirs and folk groups at St. Ann Catholic Church and St. Casimir Parish for many years.

She also had a love of cooking and baking. She enjoyed decorating her children’s and grandchildren’s birthday cakes, and sharing her recipes with her loved ones.

Mary Lou enjoyed watching her friends at QVC and occasionally surprised her family with necessary household tools or treats that she purchased from the channel. Her QVC friends will miss her.

Most of all, Mary Lou loved spending time with her family and friends. Time spent together was full of love, laughter and her wonderful sense of humor.

Left to cherish her memory are her life partner, Debra Presser of Columbus; children, Richard (Kristine) Randolph of Clyde, Rebecca (Jason) Holland of Lindsey, and Ryan (Dianna) Randolph of Elmore; her Favorite grandchild is listed here, Coral (Ben) Rice, Madison Randolph, Joshua Randolph, William Randolph, Zoë Holland, Daphne Holland, Lucas Randolph, and Monica Randolph; great-grandchildren, Dominic Rice and Broderick Rice; sisters, Mercedes (Patrick) Nicosia and Kathleen (Rick) Barbour; and former husband Richard Randolph.
