Mary "Dusty" Trappe, 76 of Fremont, passed away on September 12, 2021, surrounded by her loving family at Firelands Regional Medical Center.
She was born on October 26, 1944, to the late Harvey W. and Ruth Elizabeth (Langum) Domhoff.
A graduate of Buckeye High School in Medina, Mary went on to work for Ford Motor Company, retiring in 2007 from the casting plant.
In June of 1990, she married Larry Trappe, and together shared 31 years in marriage.
Dusty had an adventurous spirit that led her on many trips and travels with her family. From Russia to Australia, Mary and Larry traveled the globe. When she was at home, Mary enjoyed being near the water. Fishing and boating were favorite pastimes, as well as shopping. She was also a member of First Baptist Church of Valley City.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Larry; children; Tim Pringle of Cleveland, Tammy (Richard) Keiken of Wisconsin, and Mike Pringle of East Claridon; grandchildren, Darla Garns, Steven Lee Couch, Kyle Everson, Nick Miller, Dustin Beliles, Tara Beliles, Asia Stone, and Audia Pringle; as well as 11 great-grandchildren.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents Harvey and Ruth Elizabeth.
A time of visitation for Mary will be held on Friday, September 17, 2021 from 10:00AM-12:00PM at Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Crematory, Fremont. A brief time of sharing memories will follow visitation, with burial after at Faust Cemetery.
