Mary Agnes Kingsborough

Mary Agnes Kingsborough, 97, of Fremont passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2022. She was born on February 4, 1925 in England to the late Michael and Elizabeth "Betty" (Gordon) Moran. She married Daniel E. Kingsborough on May 19, 1945. Together they shared 49 years of marriage until his passing in 1994.

Through the years Mary used her talent as a seamstress to sew for friends, family or anyone in need. From doll clothes to three-piece suits, Mary easily whipped up a custom outfit that was certain to fit perfectly. She will also be remembered for the soft spot she had in her heart for babies. Even as they grew up, Mary had a way of making them feel as if they were her favorite. She will be missed as a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and a former part of the Christian Family Movement.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, William "Bill" Kingsborough of Fremont, Patricia Johnson of Cincinnati, Kathy (Steve) Burton of Bellevue, David (Carrie) Kingsborough of Old Fort, Maggie (Jim) Stein of Berlin Heights, Dan (Faye) Kingsborough of Lindsey, Juli (Steve) Stierhoff of Bucyrus and Andy (Carolyn) Kingsborough of Fremont; 40 grandchildren; 72 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Judy Kingsborough of Fremont; sister-in-law, Irene Jones of England; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband; son, Mike Kingsborough formerly of Fremont; infant brother, Martin Moran; and siblings, Henry Jones, Tom Jones, Vincent Jones, Harold Jones, Margaret Deakin, Martha Shaw and Betty Mullholland formerly all of England.

Visitation will be held Monday, November 14, 2022 from 10:30AM to 11:30AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 550 Smith Rd., Fremont, OH 43420 where her Funeral Mass will begin at 11:30AM. Fr. Krzysztof Kardzis will officiate, and burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the St. Bernardine Home or to Sacred Heart.
