Martha "Marty" L. Carnicom

Martha L. "Marty" Carnicom, 75, of Fremont passed away Friday, January 27, 2023 at Regency Hospital. She was born September 16, 1947 in Fremont the daughter of Edwin and Marjorie (Jones) Ashton. Marty was a 1965 graduate of Fremont Ross and went on to work 30 years for Seaway FoodTown.

Marty made it a priority to spend time with her family, she immensely enjoyed their company. She was an avid sun seeker and beach visitor. Daytona Beach was one of her favorite beaches. Marty also enjoyed sprint car racing and old movies. 

Surviving is her daughter Rikki Brown (fiance Bill Dunbar) of Toledo, OH; grandchildren: Kylie (Jesse) Paquin of Clyde, Zach (Ashley) Heslet of Bellevue, Trevor Brown (fiance Paige Weyant) of Castalia and Allyson Brown (fiance James Conner) of Taylor, MI; great-grandchildren Jase Paquin, Makayla, Kennadi and Karlee Heslet. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Jodi Heslet and sister Susan Withrow.

A gathering of family and friends will take place on Sunday, February 5, 2023 from 2-6P.M. at Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Crematory, 900 North Street, Fremont, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to her family. Online condolences may be expressed at www.hermanfh.com
