Marcia Ann Fisher Glick

Marcia Ann Fisher Glick, 66, of Green Springs, OH passed away Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Promedica Memorial Hospital surrounded by family.   Marcia was born September 22, 1957 in Fremont, the daughter of Clayton and Mary Ellen (Hughes) Fisher.  She married Randy Glick in October of 1980.  Randy preceded her in death on August 24, 2022.

Marcia attended Fremont St. Joseph Schools and was employed at Wagner’s Country Inn and then, for more than 30 years,  at H.J. Heinz Company.  She enjoyed music, telling jokes, playing bingo and attending concerts.  If you met her once you'd never forget her;  Marcia made a lasting impression on anyone she'd ever met.
 
Surviving is her daughter Amanda Glick of Clyde, OH; siblings Kathleen (Jon) Kissane of Frederick, MD; Kevin (Janie) Fisher of Fremont, OH; Mary Pat Fisher of Fort Mill, SC; Ken (Mary) Fisher of San Marcos, TX; Julie (Chris) Fisher-Price of Fremont, OH; Peigi (Eric) Hanson of Dublin, OH; mother-in-law Marietta (Bartlett) Glick; numerous in-laws; nieces; nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister Linda Schroeder.
 
The family would like to thank the Glick family for their care of Amanda as well as the staff and fellow residents of Elmvue Group Home for their support, friendship, and the great memories she made there.
 
Visitation will take place at 9:00A.M. on Saturday, January 27, 2024 in the Parish Hall of St. Joseph Catholic Church, 709 Croghan Street, Fremont, Ohio. A Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00 A.M.  at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Private Burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery, Fremont, OH at a later date.  Fr. Matthew Frisbee will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to support enrichment and experiences for local individuals with developmental disabilities.
