Maile A. Petersen

Maile A. Petersen, 73, of Fremont, passed away April 24, 2022 at Firelands Regional Medical Center. She was born August 22, 1948 in Shelby, OH the daughter of Clarence E. and Angeline (Lopes) Lepard. She was a 1967 graduate of Ross High and went on to work as a private caregiver and at Berlekamp Plastics.

Surviving is a daughter Tamara Metz of Fremont, OH; grandchildren Heather (Daniel) Bond and Levi Frey; great -grandchildren Brantlee, Addaline and Woodson; sister Ann Remsen.

She was preceded in death by siblings Esther Slane and C.J. "Smiley" Lepard.

Friends will gather at 3:00P.M. on Friday, April 29, 2022 at Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Crematory, 900 North Street, Fremont, OH. Memorial services will begin at 4:00P.M. at the funeral home.
