Luis Antonio Reyna, Sr.

Luis Antonio Reyna, Sr., 61, of Fremont, passed away January 14, 2022, surrounded by his family. He was born in Fremont, Ohio, on September 20, 1960, to Enestacio and Olivia (Herrera) Reyna. Luis was a 1978 graduate of Fremont Ross High School. A year later in 1979, he married Alicia Luna in Willard, Ohio, and she survives. In his spare time Luis loved fishing, playing darts and grilling. He was an avid Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes fan as well as a music lover. However, nothing could surpass the love he had for his family, and he was especially proud of all 7 of his grandchildren.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Alicia Reyna of Fremont, children: Luis, Jr. (Kristen) Reyna of Canton, Ohio, Michael (Stephanie) Reyna, David (Ashley) Reyna both of Fremont, Ohio, grandchildren: Dallas, Isabella, Adrian, Layla, Alyssa, Lily, Allie-Mae, siblings: Maria (Mel) Pena, Alberto (Bonita) Reyna, Arsenio “Cheno” Reyna, Erminia (Mando) Calderon, Jose “Junior” (Sara) Reyna, sister-in-law, Marylou Reyna, and many beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Reynaldo Reyna.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 21, 2022, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Crematory, 900 North Street, Fremont, Ohio, 43420. A memorial service will begin at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Deacon Mel Shell will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. The family kindly requests that masks be worn at all services and encourage visitors to wear casual attire.

In lieu of flowers memorial donation may be given to the family to assist with Luis’s services c/o his wife, Alicia Reyna.
