Lois Carnicom

Lois A. (Urch) Carnicom, 74, of Gibsonburg, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at Promedica Bay Park Hospital. She was born in Ashtabula, Ohio on December 22, 1950 the daughter of Harrison Morton and Laura Agnes (Pelly) Urch.

Lois worked in home healthcare for numerous state and federal government agencies in both Indiana and Florida

Lois was known for her incredible spirit and her love of all beings, especially her beloved King Cavalier Spaniels, whom she fostered with great care and affection. She readily volunteered her time and talents to help friends, neighbors, and even the larger community. Some of her most cherished memories include being a volunteer at the Super Bowl in Indianapolis and a surprise trip to a Barry Manilow concert for her sister, both experiences reflected her generosity and joy in serving others.

However, Lois's greatest pride and joy came from her family, especially her boys, whom she adored. She poured her heart and soul into their lives, guiding and nurturing them with love that knows no bounds. Her legacy of kindness and love will continue to inspire all who knew her.

Surviving is her husband Allan Carnicom of Gibsonburg; sons Harrison L. Carnicom of Lake Wales, FL; Allan L. Carnicom, Jr., of Helena, OH; sister Deborah Robbins of Lake Wales, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Delores Conklin.
