Lino P. Garcia, 57, of Gibsonburg, passed away May, 1, 2024 surrounded by his loved ones at the University of Michigan Medical Center. He was born August 22, 1966, in Bakersfield, CA, to Benito and Dolores (Benavidez) Garcia. Lino was a 1984 graduate of Fremont Ross High School. He proudly served in the United States Marines Corps from 1984-1989. May 5, 2006, he married Roberta Rodriguez.
Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Lino P., the one and only, felt his beautiful heart and sincere love ALWAYS. We will never forget his unending love for family and friends, gatherings/cookouts, boxing and playing the dice game 10,000. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Roberta Garcia; children, Sierra Avalos, Samuel Garcia; brother, Benito Garcia Jr. (Jennifer); brother-in-law, Tony Zuniga; treasured nieces and nephews, Ashley (Marq), TJ (Patty), Jacob (Morgan), Ethan, Melissa, Aurelio, and Ezekiel. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings; Edward Garcia and Ilda Zuniga.
Visitation will be held Monday, May 6, 2024, from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM at Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Crematory, 900 North Street, Fremont, OH, 43420. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Pastor Viola Recny will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery with military honors.
