Linda Voelzke, 74, of Fremont, passed away October 10, 2021, with her family by her side. She was the daughter or the late Roy Hardy and Fernella (Hardy) Drummond, born September 21, 1947 in Toledo, Ohio. Linda graduated from Gibsonburg High School in 1966. She married David Voelzke on October 28, 1967, and lived in Fremont where they shared a wonderful married life full of compromise, adjustment, happiness, and love. Linda is survived by her husband, David, and two children; Tanya (Joe) Jolly of Clyde, and Brian (Jeannette) Voelzke of Fremont. She is also survived by her sister, Shirley (Cal) Kanan and grandchildren, Shaun and Cory (Kelsey) Jolly, Erin (Brook) Lovins, Brady and Samantha Voelzke and great-grandchildren, Vivien and Phoebe Lovins. Linda was an accomplished tax preparer and owned/operated an H&R Block tax office, first in Clyde, then Fremont, Ohio during her career. She enjoyed doing taxes, but absolutely loved spending time with and getting to know her clients. She was charitable to a fault and always had room to take in a stray dog or cat that made its way to their door. She enjoyed spending time crocheting, going to flea markets, and gardening. Linda was immensely proud of her family, devoting time whenever possible for ball games, school plays, holidays, campfires at Clinton Lake, time on the Sandusky River, laughs, and a cold beverage. Upbeat and always happy; she will be missed. A celebration of life will be held at the Terra State Community College Neeley Conference & Hospitality Center on Sunday, October 24, 2021 from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM Linda's desire would be for those who wish to express sympathy to consider donating to the Humane Society of Sandusky County, the Sandusky County Dog Warden, or Stein Hospice in lieu of flowers.
