Linda M. Hotz, 79, of Fremont, passed away Monday, January 1, 2024 at Wood County Hospital. She was born April 10, 1944 in Boston, MA the daughter of Francis and Hazel (Haskell) Carey. On October 12, 1968 she married Phillip Hotz at St. Ann Catholic Church.

Linda was the owner of Bittersweet Gallery in Potter's Village selling antiques and crafting ceramics. She was THE beloved "Nana" to her grandchildren. She loved nothing more than time spent with them.

Surviving are her children David (Michelle) Hotz of Kingsport, TN; Karen (Todd) Lasher of Albany, NY; Eric (Michelle) Hotz of Fremont, OH; grandchildren Tazley (Chris) Hobbs; Kerrie (Cal) Yeaman, Anthony Hotz, Carley Hotz and Natalie Hotz; great-grandchildren Declan Hobbs, Willow Hobbs and Emilia Yeaman.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, January 6, 2024 from 9-11A.M. at Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Crematory, 900 North St, Fremont, OH 43420. A short funeral service will begin at the funeral home at 11A.M., followed by burial at St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Bridge Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
