Leslie "Tippy" L. Krotzer, 70 of Gibsonburg passed away on January 13, 2025 at his home. He was born on February 18, 1954 in Fremont to the late Wayne and Alvina (Fryman) Krotzer.
Les was a 1972 graduate of Gibsonburg High School and worked for General Dynamics as a forklift operator until his retirement in 2012.
He was a member of the Eagles, Jaycees, the Fremont Umpire's Association, and the Gibsonburg Golf League. He also worked as an umpire for many local high school, college, and little league baseball games. He was active with the Gibsonburg Athletic Boosters, running the clock for the high school basketball games for many years.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Robbin Krotzer and Kasey Krotzer; grandson, Jakob Bash; sisters-in-law, Cathy Krotzer and Lupe Krotzer; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Alvina; as well as his siblings, Dale Krotzer, Lynn Krotzer, Tom (Julie) Krotzer, Keith Krotzer, and Kris Krotzer.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 16 from 2:00-4:00PM and 6:00-8:00PM at the Herman-Veh Funeral Home, Gibsonburg. Funeral Services will begin at 10:00AM at the funeral home on Friday, January 17. Graveside services will follow at West Union Cemetery.
Donations in Leslie's name may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, the Gibsonburg Athletic Boosters, or to the DAV (Disabled American Veterans).
