Leonila B Sankovich

Leonila Bautista Sankovich, 76, of Fremont passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at her residence. She was born July 19, 1945 in Cabugao, Batan, Aklan, Philippines the daughter of Jesus and Bautista de Pedro. On December 2, 1974 she married John Sankovich in Bremerton, WA.

She enjoyed gardening, making clothing, crocheting and knitting. Surviving is her husband John of Fremont; children: Charlie Chua, John (Kristina) Chua both of Fremont; Angelica (Shane) Sankovich -Robinson of Perrysburg Township, OH; Karen (Alexander) Sankovich-Guillerin of Dublin, OH; Jeffrey Sankovich of Westminster, CO; grandchildren: Kyle Chua, Anthony Chua, Austen Robinson, Christopher Chua, Savanna and Shaunna Chua, Tyler Robinson, Gabriel and David Guillerin and Katherine Sankovich. She was preceded in death by her infant daughter Elizabeth and siblings Lumenada Laurente, Felicidad Fuentes, Alfredo de Pedro, Perla de Pedro, Rubencio de Pedro, and Merita Manasala.

Visitation will take place from 3-6P.M. on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home, 900 North Street, Fremont, OH. Funeral services will take place at 1:30P.M. on Monday, January 24, 2022 at the funeral home. Deacon Mel Shell will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
