Leonard Reino

Leonard Reino, 83 of Gibsonburg passed away in the early morning of October 13, 2021.

Leonard was born September 26, 1938 in Gibsonburg to the late Dan and Mary (Perna) Reino, the oldest of five children. 

On April 20, 1991 Leonard married Judith Onifer and shared over 30 loving years together. 

He was a 1956 graduate of Gibsonburg High School and went on to serve in the United States Navy over the Atlantic Ocean from 1956-1962.

The owner of Reino Linen Service Inc., Leonard was very active in Sandusky County. He was a member of the Sandusky County Economic Development Council, Leadership Sandusky County, the Rockwell Springs Trout Club, the Gibsonburg Hunt Club, an honorary Gibsonburg Fireman and a lifelong parishioner at St. Michael Catholic Church. He also served as a board member of the Textile Rental Service Association (TRSA), an International trade association.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Judy; children, Christopher Reino of ID, Lisa (James) Olson of TN, Brian (Dawn) Reino of PA, and Jeffrey (Yi-Ru) Sosnowski of MI; siblings, Carmine Reino, Danny Lee (Joan) Reino, and Pauline (Jim) Rumer; grandchildren, Arthur and Miles Sosnowski, Maria "Ria"( Brandon) Gurganus, Tommy (Marley) Martino, Nick Olson, Eli, Chloe, and Gabriel Reino, Kelsey (Joey) Gaul, Brandan and Christopher Leiter; and great-grandchildren, Veronica Leiter and Holden Gaul. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dan and Mary, sister Mary Lou Gibson her husband Dick and sister-in-law Martha Reino

Visitation for Mr. Reino will begin on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at Herman-Veh Funeral Home & Crematory from 2:00-4:00 PM and 6:00 - 8:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 18, 2021 at Saint Michael Catholic Church beginning at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Saints Michael and Lawrence Cemetery, Gibsonburg. 

Masks are required for both visiting at the funeral home and church services. Funeral services will be live streamed via the funeral homes web page at www.hermanfh.com

Memorial donations in Leonard's name may be made to St. Michael Catholic Church.
