Larry L. Miller

Larry L. Miller, 78, of Fremont, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at Promedica Toledo Hospital. He was born July 23, 1944 in Tiffin, the son of C. Earl and Wanda J. (Myers) Miller.

He married Marlene M. Smith of Elmore on April 25, 1965 at St. John's Lutheran in Fremont, by Rev. E.E. Zimmerman.

Larry was a 1962 graduate of Old Fort High School, then Tiffin University and Lorain Community College. He went on to live and work in Norwalk, for A. J. Baltes Construction Co. as data processing manager until 1978. Larry then moved to Fremont and opened and operated his insurance agency in Bettsville, until his retirement in 2005.
He enjoyed his children, grandchildren, auto racing, gardening and tennis.

Surviving is his wife, Marlene; sons; David L. (Kim) Miller of Sylvania, OH; Matthew C. Miller of Toledo, OH; Eric S. (Lynette) Miller of Phoenix, AZ; daughter Deborah L. Miller of Toledo; grandchildren: Andrew Miller, Owen Miller, Madison Miller; nephews Stephen Schwochow, Kevin Schwochow and Douglas Moyer; nieces Chantel Fair and Mindy Jason Stewart. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Vivian E. Schwochow.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00A.M. at St. John's Lutheran Church, 212 N. Clover Street, Fremont, OH. Funeral services will begin at the church at 11:00 A.M. officiated by Rev. Matthew Wheeler. Burial will follow at Smith Cemetery, Burgoon, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Church or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
