Larry Lowell Howell

Larry Lowell Howell, “Batman”, age 58, of Gibsonburg, passed away unexpectedly at his home early Wednesday morning. Larry was a loving husband to his wife of 32 years Kathy (Gill) Howell and doting father to his children, Jenna (Howell) Bolduan of Fostoria and Michael (Christie) Howell of Gibsonburg. Larry was also the very proud PaPa to three beautiful grandchildren; Hannah (12), Tenley (8) and J.J. (2) Bolduan. 

Larry attended Gibsonburg High School and graduated in 1981. He was an outdoorsman and also a hunting enthusiast. There wasn’t a hunting season he didn’t love or would miss. Everyone that knew Larry knew he could be counted on to lend a helping hand. He was always full of good jokes and humor.  Larry also very much loved the animals he and his wife, Kathy, have cared for over the years. 

Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Evelyn Howell; and brothers, Walter Jr. and Rodney Smallets. He leaves behind his wife, Kathy, of Gibsonburg; children, grandchildren, sisters, Alberta (Drew) Piroch of Huron and Sandi (Scott) Kreais of Helena; and brother, Richard Howell of Fremont. Larry will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 23, 2021, from 2-4 p.m. and 5-7 p.m., at Herman-Veh Funeral Home in Gibsonburg. The family welcomes you to honor Larry’s life and hopes that you will share your favorite memories of Larry as you say your goodbyes.
