Kimberly (Foos) Wilhelm

Kimberly (Foos) Wilhelm, 66, of Fremont, passed away on July 8, 2021 at Elmwood Assisted Living in Fremont. She was born December 10, 1954 in Gibsonburg to James and Florence (Smith) Foos. Kimberly was a 1973 graduate of Gibsonburg High School. She was the circulation manager and director for the Fremont News Messenger and later the Findlay Courier. Kimberly also owned "This N That Too" where she sold a variety homemade baked goods and snacks. In her spare time, she loved organizing car shows in Findlay and Clyde, enjoyed traveling and being in the sunshine, passing along her skills as a master chef to her grandchildren, cheering them on at all of their various sporting events and eating at Pizza Boys Pizza. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the Clyde BPA, of which she was president for a year, and received the outstanding leadership award from the ONCA. On May 15, 2011 she married Larry Wilhelm in Findlay, and he survives.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Larry Wilhelm of Fremont, children; Cortney (Paul) Rogers of Wapakoneta, OH, Catherine (fiancé Geof Meyer) Cominsky of Fremont, step-children; Shawn (Rebecca) Wilhelm of Marengo, OH, Ryan (Lindsay) Wilhelm of Milford, OH, Jeremy (Rachel) Wilhelm of Fremont, grandchildren; Zach and Blake Rogers, Dominic Cominsky, Lynkin and Lindyn Meyer, Morgan, Emily, Jaxon, Luc, Alayna, Hayley Wilhelm, and brother, James (Sharon) Foos of FL. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 15, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Crematory, 900 North Street, Fremont, Ohio, 43420. A vigil service will begin at 5:30 PM at the funeral home on Thursday.

Memorial Mass will be held Friday, July 16, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 550 Smith Road, Fremont, Ohio, 43420. Fr. Krzysztof Kardzis will officiate.

Burial will be private at St. Lawrence & St. Michael Cemetery in Gibsonburg, Ohio.
