Kenneth Frederick Waggoner, 84, of Fremont passed away on Saturday, April 16 at Firelands Regional Medical Center in Sandusky. He was born in Fremont on July 2, 1937 to the late Frederick and Dorothy (Babione) Waggoner.
He was a 1955 graduate of Fremont Ross High School, and on August 10, 1963, he married Kay Gnepper at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. They shared 58 years of marriage together.
Kenneth was a farmer by trade, but also worked for Fremont City Schools as a bus driver. He retired from that position in 2006, after 21 years of service. He was also a member of SCRAP, as well as a faithful member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Kay of Fremont; daughter, Leigh Ann (Douglas) Nason of Fremont; grandson, Tyler Waggoner Nason; and brother, Robert Waggoner of Port Clinton.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Dorothy. A Funeral Mass for Kenneth will be held on Friday, April 22, 2022 at 11:30 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with visitation held prior from 10:00 AM until the start of services. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Memorial donations in Kenneth's name may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
