Karen R. (Haaser) Curtis, 47 of Fremont, passed away on Monday, March 7, 2022 at Toledo Hospital. She was born on March 12, 1974 to Thomas and Connie (Kinsey) Haaser.
A 1992 graduate of Fremont Ross High School, Karen went on to work as a receptionist, most recently for Ganley Automotive.
She had a love of the outdoors and enjoyed spending time in the sunshine. Karen spent many hours visiting local parks and loved feeding and watching the wildlife. She also enjoyed traveling, motorcycles, old cars, and she had a soft spot for animals.
A true hero to those who loved her, Karen has shared the gift of organ donation. This cause personally resonated with her, as she was also an organ recipient earlier in life.

A time of visiting will be held on Monday, March 14, 2022 at Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Crematory, Fremont from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM. A memorial service will follow, followed by graveside services at St. Joseph Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Karen's name may be made to the Karen Curtis Memorial Fund at any Croghan Colonial Bank branch, the Humane Society of Sandusky County, or to Grace Lutheran Church.
