Judy Mauch

Judy Mauch, 62, of Gibsonburg, passed away peacefully on April 9, 2021, at Wood County Hospital. She was born in Fremont, Ohio on September 15, 1958 to Chester “Chet” and Betty (Evans) Mauch. Judy graduated from Gibsonburg High School with honors in 1976. As a lifelong farmer for Mauch Farms she grew up helping her parents work the fields and later oversaw management of the pickle station and pepper production. Agriculture was her life. She will be remembered for her strong support of the Lindsey Fire Department, Gibsonburg FFA and the Black Swamp Conservatory. In addition, Judy was a co-owner of Mauch Trucking LLC with her brother, Ron.

Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Chet and Betty Mauch of Lindsey, OH, siblings; Phyllis (Mike) Bergman of Carmel, IN, Ronald Mauch of Lindsey, OH, nephews; Ryan Parker, Nik Wearsch, Jacob Younker, Carl Mauch, nieces; Cheryl Quigley, Carla Gray, Amy Aide, Ashley Flickinger and Johanna Wearsch, their spouses, many great-nieces and nephews, and many close friends.

She was preceded in death by her siblings; Barbara Jean Mauch, Mary Mauch, Peggy Wearsch and sister-in-law, Anita Mauch.

Visitation will be held Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Ole Zim’s Wagon Shed, 1375 N. OH 590, Gibsonburg, OH, 43431 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM with Pastor Dennis Wansitler and Pastor Jim Budke officiating. Use of a mask will be required at all services and wait times may occur outside due to social distancing. 

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Lindsey Fire Department. 238 S. Main Street, Lindsey, OH, 43442, or the Gibsonburg Educational Scholarship Fund in memory of Judy Mauch.
