Jeffrey Wayne Tackitt

Jeffrey Wayne Tackitt, 64, of Port Clinton, passed away on October 15, 2021, at Stein Hospice in Sandusky, Ohio. He was born in Dorton, KY, on June 23, 1957, to Paris and Monnie (Sowards) Tackitt. After graduating high school, Jeffrey earned his CDL and was a truck driver for many years before getting into maintenance work after gaining an additional education in mechanics. On Halloween in 1984, he married Tami Kenley in Dayton, Ohio, and they enjoyed 37 years of marriage until his passing. He will be remembered fondly by his family as being a jack of all trades who was always ready with a joke to make them laugh. Jeffrey also enjoyed collecting guns and knives.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Tami Tackitt, children; Mandy Hess, Adam Tackitt, Chris Kenley, Molly Lopez, Nichole Royster, grandchildren; Cody Hess, Morgan Hess, Amelia Tackitt, Mason Tackitt, Logan Kenley, Dilon Kenley, Solana Lopez, Jesse Lopez, Madison Royster, siblings; Danny Tackitt, Mike Tackitt, Kathy Brown, nieces and nephews; Kim, Blase and Mary Rose Tackitt, Abigail, Devon and Brady. He was preceded in death by his parents.
