Janet Rich

Janet Marie Rich, 75, of Fremont passed away in the comfort of her home on April 7, 2025 with her family by her side. She was born on May 14, 1949 to the late Harold and Jeanne (Gilpin) Tucker.

Janet graduated from Fremont Ross High School. She went on to attend Grace College, obtaining her Bachelor's Degree of Education. She taught second grade over a 30 year career at Stamm Elementary.

She enjoyed her time teaching, as well as traveling and taking yearly summer vacations with her daughters. Janet loved animals and tending to her yard and flowers.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Jennifer Rich, Abigail Rich, and Kristina Rich; grandchildren, Azlynn, Jaxon, and Paton; great-granddaughter, Coraline; and brother, David Tucker.

Janet is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Jeanne; as well as her sister, Patsy Gahn.

Visitation for Janet will be held on Saturday, April 12 from 10:00am-12:00pm at the Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Crematory, Fremont, followed by a memorial service beginning at 12:00pm.
