James C. Wagner

James C. Wagner, 77, of Fremont, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at Countryside Care Center. He was born January 14, 1947 in in Fremont, the son of Nicholas and Genevieve (Brink) Wagner. On October 7, 1967 he married Nancy Cole at St. Joseph Church.

Jim was a graduate of St. Joseph High School and went on to serve in the National Guard. He retired from Whirlpool. James will be remembered for his quiet demeanor and his love for tending to his lawn and yard. Although a man of few words, his presence always spoke volumes to those who knew him.

Surviving is his wife Nancy Wagner of Fremont; sons Jimmie, Matthew, and Ryan; grandchildren, Jakeb, Jena, Kasey and Cole; siblings, Rosemary (James) Klos, Patricia (John) Post, Nancy Reed; sister-in-law, Cindy Wagner; and fur babies, Millie and Addie. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Roger and Larry, and furry friend Daisy.

Per Jim's wishes all services will be private. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery.
