James "Jim" L. Bragg, 71, of Fremont passed away on Friday, August 5, 2022. He was born in Fremont to the late Elmer C. and Mary Ruth (Maurer) Bragg.
Jim was a cement truck driver for Gordon Lumber in Oak Harbor as well as Williams Brothers Concrete in Maumee for many years. Jim had a passion and appreciation for cars. He built several through the years and entered them in drag races. Even if he wasn't the one driving, he liked the thrill of watching Drag Races.
Surviving are his children, James Bragg of Bowling Green and Toni (Andy) Sturniolo of Genoa and their mother, Brenda (Magrum) Bragg; grandsons, Reece and Ridge Sturniolo of Genoa; siblings, Helen Uline of North Olmstead, Kate (Gordon) Heinrich of Colorado, Dave (Sue) Bragg of Gibsonburg, Joseph Bragg of Fremont, Shirley (Lew) Robarge of Clyde, Brent Bragg of Fremont, and Cheryl (Vince) Williams of Rising Sun; and sisters-in-law, Ellen Bragg of Maryland and Mary Jane Bragg of Bettsville; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Paul, Mark, and Milo.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at the Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Crematory, Fremont from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.
Burial will be held at a later date a 4-Mile House Cemetery, Fremont.
