James Buehrle Jr.

April 4, 1961 — May 15, 2024

Gibsonburg

James Lowell Buehrle Jr., a beloved father, husband, and cherished friend, passed away at home on May 15, 2024, at the age of 63, surrounded by his loving family. Jim was a godly man who loved the Lord and his family and is now at peace.

Born on April 4, 1961, in Sandusky, Ohio, James was the son of James and Jeanne Buehrle. From a young age, he discovered that music was his calling and that would define him throughout his life. Jim married his wife Debra in 1998, and they were together for thirty-seven years. He cherished time spent with his loved ones, and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. James played in multiple bands during his life, including bands with both of his daughters, Jamey and Danielle, and sister Julie and was very proud of that. James worked as a delivery driver for a few different companies throughout his life, but anyone who knew him knew his true passion was playing and recording music with his friends and family.

He leaves behind his wife, Debra; his children, Jamey Buehrle-Wilkins and Danielle (Tyler) Chrulski; his grandchildren, Tory Wilkins, Tiberius Wilkins, and Baby Chrulski; Sister Julie (John) Buehrle-Estep and Martin Glass. He is preceded in death by his mother and father James and Jeanne Buehrle and his brother Gary Glass.

Burial will take place privately at West Union Cemetery. A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at Jim’s home. More details to come.

Jim will be deeply missed but his rockin’ spirit will continue to inspire all who knew him. He is taking his famous pink guitar to Heaven with him. The family wishes to express their gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time.

Herman-Veh Funeral Home & Crematory, Gibsonburg, Ohio, has the honor of assisting the Buehrle family during this difficult time.
