James A. “Dewey” Taulker, 63, of rural Gibsonburg died Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Bridge Hospice Care Center in Bowling Green.
He was born on July 2, 1955 in Fremont to James C. and Marguerite (Huston) Taulker. After graduating from high school, James and his father ran the family farm until his health made him unable to continue. He enjoyed being outside and fishing.
Surviving Dewey is his dad, James C. Taulker of Gibsonburg; children, Allen (Stephanie Miller) Taulker of Helena, Ryan Taulker of Fremont, Jessie Peace of Gibsonburg, Krista Taulker of Columbus and Matthew Taulker of Genoa; grandchildren, Jeanette Taulker, Zackary Taulker and Dustyn Oney; and siblings, Barb (Jon) Ward of Gibsonburg, Judy (George) Diab of Findlay, Debra (Brad) Wies of Butler, OH, David (Tina) Taulker of Deshler and Daniel Taulker of Hoytville, OH; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Marguerite “Marg” Taulker and nephew, James Wies.
Funeral Services will be held at the Herman-Veh Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Gibsonburg on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 2:00 p.m., where visitation will be held one-hour prior beginning at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Henry Seibert will officiate. Interment will be at West Union Cemetery, Gibsonburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church or Bridge Hospice Care Center.
