Harold Joseph Chase

Harold Joseph Chase, 77, formerly of Gibsonburg, passed away January 15, 2020 at St. Luke’s Hospital. He was born on September 26, 1942 to Harold R. and Stephanie (Baldin) Chase in Alexandria, Louisiana, and raised by his grandparents, Alfred and Vivian Long after his parents passed away. He was the hardest working block worker for Prairie Builders, was well as the longest until his retirement in 2006. In his free time, he enjoyed camping at Cactus Flats and was the Wii bowling champion when he was living at Luther Meadow in Gibsonburg. Harold was also the family videographer. He loved taking numerous pictures and videos of family, friends, and holiday get-togethers. Harold was an unforgettable character and will be solely missed by all.

Left to cherish his memory are his many nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Betty Kauffman.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
