Graciela Piña

January 24, 2006 — June 27, 2022

Graciela Piña, 16, formerly of Fremont passed away on June 27, 2022 at her Oak Harbor home. She was born on January 24, 2006 in Toledo the daughter of Amparo B. Scharbach & Sean F. Scharbach.

For the summer Graciela was working at Drown's Dairy in Oak Harbor. She was a Junior at Fremont Ross High School. As a little girl Graciela played softball and was more recently was active in baton.

As a friend to everyone, Graciela was very sensitive to other's feelings. She made it her mission to brighten others' day, to make them feel cared about and loved.

Left to cherish her memory is her mom and step-dad Amparo (Sean) Scharbach of Oak Harbor; birth father Luis Martinez of Monroe, MI; brothers Miguel (Avery Bookmyer) Piña, Jose Piña and Kurt Scharbach all of Oak Harbor; grandmother Amparo Palomo of Fremont; step-grandparents Kurt Scharbach and Ruth Scharback of Toledo; aunt Rosie Mireles; nephew Miguel Allen Piña; and niece Marvella Angelita Piña.

She is preceded in death by her grandpa Manuel Palomo; great-grandparents Maria and Alberto Bonilla.

Friends and family will be welcomed to the Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Crematory, Fremont on Friday July 8, 2022 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Saturday, July 9th at 10:00 AM. Fr. Matt Frisbee will officiate, and burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Fremont.

Memorials in honor of Graciela may be made to the family.
