Gladys Kuehne

February 19, 1925 — April 23, 2022

Gladys Elizabeth Kuehne, 97, of Lindsey, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2022 at Valley View Care Center. She was born February 19, 1925 in

Exter, Rhode Island the daughter of Henry Edward and Lydia Record (Sherman) Brown. She was a 1943 graduate of North Kingston High

School. On August 2, 1948 she married W. Perry Kuehne in Exter, RI, he preceded her in death on March 22, 2013. Gladys worked as a secretary for the

United States Navy at NAS Quonset, Rhode Island, she also worked on the family vineyards in Naples, NY. She was a farmers' wife and caregiver

at St. Francis in Green Springs and later returned back to the east coast to care for her grandparents.

 

Surviving are children Rob (Shirley)Kuehne, Art (Linda) Kuehne, Patti(Jim) Knipp, Kris Bauerle, Jon (Julie) Kuehne; grandchildren : Barbie

(Jason) Kuehne, Matt & Michelle Kuehne, Alex Kuehne, Greg & Erin Lewis, Brian & Ashley Lewis, Matthew Lewis, Alex & Amanda Kuehne,

Sergie Kuehne, Vera Kuehne, Peter & Amber Fox, Melody & Pete Hoffman, Sarah & Chris Foley, Markus Bauerle, Erick Bauerle, Joshua Kuehne,

Jacob & Maricela Kuehne; great-grandchildren: Kyler & Turner Kuehne, Jacob, Logan and Kira Lewis, Jaxson, Spencer, Gracelynn,

Connor and Maddison Lewis, Mackenzie, Releigh, Baby Girl Kuehne, Leila,Alexis, Andy Kuehne, Tyler Eisenhower, Paige Smith, Bahli Fox, Gavin

Lindsey, Hadliy Fox, Carson, Luke, & Ava Hoffman, Christian & Boden Foley, Liam & Harper Kuehne; great-great- granddaughter Emberlee

Lindsey. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Perry, brother Edward Sherman Brown and sister Genevra Lydia Edgar. Great grandson Nathaniel Kuehne.

Private graveside services and interment will take place at Lindsey Cemetery. Pastor Travis Montgomery, officiant. Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice.
