Frank Calvin Lester, 6, of Gibsonburg, passed away September 17, 2022. He was born in Chillicothe, Ohio, on October 2, 2015, to Travis Lester and Katherine Branham. “Frank the Tank” as he was affectionately known, was a high-pitched little boy who could light up a room and was a joy to have in everyone’s life. He would always be asking “what are you doing?” and his favorite response to any answer was “huh?”. He was also a charmer with his famous raising of the brows expression. Frankie was a lover of all sports, especially football and baseball and recently joined the local football team. Frankie was loved by many for his short 6 years on this Earth and he will be forever and sorely missed by all that were touched by his bright and loving personality.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, his Irish twin brother, Bam, and siblings, Ashton (Marshaun), Linda (Special Friend, Alex), Kenyan, Azairah, Laythan, Landon; maternal grandmother, Susan Whitaker; paternal grandparents, Tammy Lester, and Joseph Cooper; Aunt Kimmy and Uncle Matt, as well as his many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Rodney Whitaker and uncle, Josh Whitaker.

Visitation will be held Thursday, September 22, 2022, from 3:00pm until 7:00pm at Herman-Veh Funeral Home & Crematory, 319 W. Madison Street, Gibsonburg, Ohio, 43431. Additional visiting will be at the funeral home Friday, September 23, 2022, from 10:00am until 11:00am, with funeral services beginning at 11:00am. Pastor Michael Holcomb will officiate. Burial will follow at West Union Cemetery.
